Newberry Apartments is a 40-unit senior apartment building with 35, 375 square feet. The three-story elevator building was built with development partners, Fairfield Homes, Inc. and Spire Development, using tax credits from 2017 through the West Virginia Housing Development Fund.
Newberry Apartments is an age-restricted (55+) senior housing community in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. The three-story elevator building is set in a beautiful wooded setting and includes professional on-site management and maintenance staff, an exercise room, a community room, a multi-purpose activity room, a resident lounge, and an outdoor patio area. Unit amenities include fully-equipped kitchens, Energy Star appliances, and HVAC unit, Energy Star windows, in-unit Energy Star washer and dryer, and a mixture of vinyl flooring and carpet.
Construction began in July of 2018 and the project was completed in December of 2019.
